Gwenyth Marie (Templeman) Templeman

Gwen was born in Glendale California to Barbara Mae Templeman and Edgar Rodney Templeman.  The Templemans moved to Tulsa in 1954 and Gwen lived in this area the rest of her life.  She was a graduate of Memorial High School and the University of Tulsa.  While at Memorial, Gwen was a member of the synchronized swimming team and remained friends with her coach and teammates her entire life.  Gwen spent most of her working life at the St. Francis Health System, first at Children’s Clinic of Tulsa, then at St. Francis Diabetic Center.  Gwen was a passionate hockey fan and followed the Tulsa Ice Oilers for many years.  She was an avid gardener, needlepoint artist and scrapbook enthusiast.  She is survived by her devoted Cairn Terrier, Baxter, as well as her brothers Stuart Templeman and his partner Judy Froese, and Philip Templeman and his wife Cindy.  She was especially devoted to her nephew Jay Templeman and his wife Missy, and her niece Lindsay and her husband Slaten Leach.  Also her “great” nephews and niece, Kaden, Jaxon and Stella Marie Templeman, and her aunt Connie Townsend, and her Uncle Burke Townsend and his wife Karen.  Gwen had a large group of life-long friends whose friendship she valued more than they will ever know.  Stuart and Philip will post on their Facebook pages information regarding an upcoming celebration of life.
