Jewell Maxine (Morland) Limke

Jewell Maxine (Morland) Limke was born August 28, 1926 in Dora, Ozark Co., Missouri to Eva Mae Icke and Frank Clark Morland.  She was the youngest of 26 children.  Jewell was a l944 Collinsville High School graduate.  She married Edmund Frederick Limke on April 9, 1945 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Skiatook, Oklahoma.  They lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for many years and eventually retired to Grand Lake where they were quite happy.  Jewell passed away at her home at Jay, Delaware Co., Oklahoma on January 10, 2018.

Jewell is survived by her husband Edmund and her only child, Gregory Alan Limke and his spouse, Brenda and 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her 25 siblings.

Jewell was buried January 24, 2018 in Sandridge Cemetery with a graveside service.  Rev. Paul Eichhoff officiated.
