Mildred E. (Burgess) McDowell

Mildred MCDowell passed from this life on March 16, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 98 years.  Mildred was born September 14, 1919 in Willington, Texas to parents Issac John Burgess and Roseann Clem Burgess.

She was married November 4, 1939 to Ennis McDowell who was in the Navy.  Mildred was a homemaker, but she was also his secretary in the business he started later in life.  This business helped Mildred and her husband Ennis in supporting the Victory Christian Center.  They had two children, Sharon Holland and Ronald McDowell.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Sharon Holland of Tulsa, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ennis, son, Ronald McDowell..
