Richard David Uber

Was born November 26, 1951 in Grove City, PA.  He was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Jane Uber and niece Jan Uber. Survivors include his wife Patricia Uber; son Brian Uber and wife Wendy; son Todd Uber and wife Tara; (step)daughter Heather Burke; (step)daughter Jennifer Slama and husband Jason; grandchildren Paige and Nick Foster, Adam and Kacie Uber, Marlee and Max Uber; all of Tulsa, OK. Other survivors include brother Robert Uber and wife, Donna, nieces Christy Bailey and Shawna Stull, great-nephews Justin, Seth, Dylan and Drew; all of Grove City, PA.

Richard worked as a meteorologist for the National Weather Service for 35 years after serving in the Air Force. His favorite hobbies included spending time with his grandchildren, watching Steelers football and Penguins hockey and spending time at the racetrack with his family. He left this world peacefully on October 7, 2017 in Tulsa.

Services are Friday October 13, 2017 at Asbury United Methodist Church in the Mason Chapel at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital are requested in honor of the deceased.
