Russell Allen Layne

Russell A Layne, a retired real estate associate, passed from this life on March 14, 2017, at the age of 63 years in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1971 and attended OU.  He was a member of the ATO Fraternity.  Russell loved the sport of wrestling.  He coached kids wrestling and later became a referee.  He was president of Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association from 1991 to 2008.

Russell is survived by his wife Linda Hess-Layne, daughter Caitlin Layne, brother Ross Layne, nephew Evan Layne, niece Ashley Layne and dogs General, Admiral and Ares. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Doris Miller Layne and Fred Layne
