Welcome to the memorial page for

Christina Ann Kolb

December 10, 1956 ~ March 28, 2015 (age 58) 58 Years Old
In Celebration of a Remarkable Life
Christina Ann Kolb passed into glory around 6:40 am, on Saturday, 28th of March 2015.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlena Kolb, and by her parents, Al and Marlene Hambleton of Redding, California. And by her siblings; Nancey Kolb, Patricia Gladish, Mechele Norris, Mary Kolb, Michael Kolb, Bill Kolb, Tony Hambleton and all their families; and by a wonderful network of generous friends whom she cherished. And by her little Shih Tzu, Mikey (aka Sparky).
Christina spent a majority of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She was a devout Christian; attending church in the Coeur'd Alene area.
Christina loved life, taking an avid interest in people that entered her sphere. She classically trained as an English and History teacher; passing on her love of learning to others. She refused to dwell on past failures, seeking only what was pertinent for the current day.
Christina was very proud of her daughter, Marlena Kolb; her gift of music, and would want her to continue. Christina's favorite song was 'You Raised Me Up'.
She enjoyed traveling, was an indoor and outdoor gardener, and had a strong interest in camping and hiking. She also did beadwork, making jewelry, painting, and crocheting, floral arrangement, interior decorating, and shopping for a bargain. Christina was an excellent cook.
Christina's bright presence is sincerely missed in the here-and-now; but we will see her again.
