Maion Juanice Rainwater

Marion Juanice Rainwater, known to her friends as " Juanice" a longtime Tulsa resident passed from this life on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, in Owasso, at the age of 91 years, 4 months and 3 days. Juanice was born July 12, 1925 in Greenville, Texas the daughter of Fred and Kate (Hicks) Schettler.
She was a resident of Tulsa for over 60 years. After 23 years she retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company where she became the very First Female Forcast Engineer. She was a proud member of the ABA, where she served as President and won Woman of the year Juanice considered herself a world traveler and had many cherished memories. and had a collection of memorabilia from over 19 countries.

Juanice will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert and one brother, Gene Schettler.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her daughter, Linda Vanderpool and husband, Jan of Kalispell, MT; granddaughter, Trina Hasson of Kalispell, MT; grandson, Christopher Vanderpoll of Minneapolis, MN; two great- grandchildren, Eddie and Ellie Hasson both of Kalispell, MT.
