Doyle Gene Denton Jr.

Doyle Gene Denton Jr. was born to Joyce Denton-Vaughn and Doyle Gene Denton Sr. on August 1st , 1958 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Doyle was the oldest of six children. He moved to Oklahoma City in the early 80's and took a job resurfacing tennis courts for Merritt Tennis Court & Track Systems. Little did Doyle know that would become his career and most of his family would join him.

In 1963 Gene Sr and his brother Steve started dirt track racing. In the late 70's the boys Doyle Jr, Danny, and John continued the tradition. Then the 3rd generation Mikee, Daniel, Dee & A.J. took over the tradition under the guidance of their fathers. Doyle Jr. & his bothers watched their racing dreams progress and become victorious many times through the years, with the 4th generation Kashton carrying on the legacy of Denton Racing.  The things he really enjoyed were his job, dirt-track racing, and his family. But the most meaningful was the time he had enjoying his family and friends hosting poker night & renting fights to watch. As well as hosting holidays, cook-outs, and any family function.  You always knew you could come to Uncle Doyle's (Juniors) (Big Dee) (Paw Paw's) or Doyles home at any time, his door was always open to so many.

Doyle Jr. was preceded in death by this parents Joyce & Doyle Sr.; brother Travis; Uncles Bill, Bobby & Jimmy; Aunt Lois; Grandmother Versal & Vera; Grandfather John Raymond

He is survived by his siblings Danny Denton, John Denton (with children Garett, Jarrett & Sherena); Stacy Harvey (husband Ben with children Tre, Kadrian & Aaliyah); Jovanna Harris (with children Isaac, Ashton, Ayden & Maddie)

He was also survived by the Denton crew:

Dee (wife Bridget with children Lexi, Kyah, MJ, DayShaun, Rayson & Jaela); 

Aarron Sr. "AJ" ( with children Hailey & Aarron Jr.); 

Dustin (wife Kelsey with children Tanner, Kynslie & Legion)
