Jonathan Simmons

Jonathan Kyle Simmons was born, June 20, 1986 to Larry Gene Simmons and Leslie Renee Blondin Heusner.

Jonathan “Jon” married Jessica Dochstader and had two two children from that union, Izzabela Faith Simmons and Aiden Arthur Dale Simmons.

Jon was a free spirit who enjoyed skate dancing, Nanchuking and music.  He could be seen walking or skate boarding all over town.  He once walked to Kansas City, KS to “get away” for a while.

If you were lucky enough to be Jon’s friend, his quirky jokes were endless; “Get in the Van!” and one about a pigeon were his favorites.  You always had a helping hand from Jon.  He loved helping his friends and without hesitation, no matter how large the task.

The Tulsa World saw him Nanchuking in a park and even wrote an article about him and published it in the paper.

Jon enjoyed Art and spending time with his friends.  He often made his “rounds” around the neighborhood  to check on them.

Jonathan has three Brothers: Michael Devin Simmons, Christopher Daniel Simmons and Andrew Scott (Scotty) Simmons and one sister, Abby (Brick) all of Tulsa, OK. He has a stepdad, Justin Robert Heusner and Grandmother Carol Ann Simmons of Salina, OK.

John will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
