My all time favorite childhood memory is spending time at the lake house with Uncle Jim and Aunt Carol. There was so much love and fun under one roof. Great family times. RIP UNCLE JIM!

I am privileged to have Brenda, Jim's eldest daughter as BFF, with our daughter Melissa. Jim and his beautiful wife Carol were wonderful parents, and their amazing rearing of these lovely daughters has been apparent as I watched Brenda and her two sisters give loving care during the their Dad's final illness. My deepest sympathy is extended to all the family. In Christian Love, Donna Brown

What a joy Whiz was to work with.! I remember when I first started working at Vinson and he was one of the first if not the first to speak to me and from that day forward there was never a dull moment. Loved him and will treasure his friendship!

So sorry to hear of Whiz's passing, my thoughts & prayers are with all of you. He was always fun loving & I really enjoyed working with him at Vinson. He kept us laughing when we needed it & was not always too serious. I don't remember who gave him is nickname "old goat" but he just went right along with it. He was always up for giving his 2-cents in practical jokes & just keeping the work atmosphere light. He was a great person & friend, thanks for all the memories Whiz. Go rest high on that mountain now & don't spend all your time fishing. Love & prayers
