Growing up with this family I can assure you they are full of life. Giggles and laughter. I'm
Not saying we all had trying times and our little disagreements. In the end. Full of love.
As we go through this this week I am reminded of times with Sheryl growing through the teenage years into adults. We were in Enid for tri-state and through the marching I was just a person filling in a hole for a senior who was ineligible she was at the time a sophomore. Her position was behind me through out the march. Her clarinet reed broke and she traded instruments with me. Like I said I was filling a hole and pretending. She knew how to make a go of a bad situation.
Later out of school she brought beautiful children into the world. But when family was together.... the twins sang to us which was amazing. These were wonderful times. Sheryl and Shannon were very much so tied at the hip. Carrying a special bond only twins do.
Cindy loves her sisters and followed the same musical path. I didn't meet Lori until after high school. For she was already moved out. Their mom and dad are an amazing team. Now her love for her hubby and children and grands will live on. May God Bless you all and keep you safe.

We send our love during this difficult time. Passing of a loved one is hard enough when we expect it, so I can't imagine the emotions that come with Sheryl's passing. We will be praying for comfort for your entire family.

I remember her fondly. We shared many classes for several years. Every time you turned around, Sheryl was there with a smile on her face. I swear she carried an extra pencil to class just for me. You are missed Sheryl. I wish peace for your family. I know you are in a beautiful place now. Love.

Heartbroken, and sad. Amazing how people touch our lives. Even people we may not have seen in over twenty years. However, Facebook despite its flaws allows friends from the past to communicate. Facebook also informs us of when a friend has passed on. At first, there is disbelief, then shock. Followed by sadness. Sheryl McClain, a friend and classmate of mine, graduated from Catoosa High School in May of 1986. Now, Sheryl Dawson-Smith, she passed on the 12th of July 2017. She will be greatly missed.
