Terry LaVerne Griggs was born December 27, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, to Ramona May Griggs (Deceased) and Thomas James Griggs, Jr. (deceased) and Michael Tyrone Griggs (Deceased). Terry leaves behind her Son, Sam Elliott Hewitt, Sister, Linda Remita Griggs-Barrett, (Derryl), Brother, Thomas James Griggs, Jr. 3rd, also her Nephews and Nieces, Antoine DeVon Griggs, Tammeda T. Griggs-Watts (Tony), Raven Harris and lots of Grand nieces and nephews, Anyia, Cassie (Tim), Antoine, Jr, Tyvon, Esaias, Vanessa, Zaire Linden, Cajuan, Cherish, Arrick, Dion, Sonia, Neveah, Messiah, and other family that prayed and helped through these hard times (Taffy, Joann). Terry attended D.S. Wentworth and Englewood High School. Terry was a Great seamstress and loved to dress and make people laugh. Terry will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED IN MANY HEARTS, I PRAY HER LIFE WILL BE AN EXAMPLE TO THEIR PEOPLE’S LIVES. I LOVE YOU MY SISTER, OUR HEARTS HURT.
