Vicky Addean (Tyler) Hurst

Vicky Addean Hurst passed from this life on January 12, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 64.  Vicky was born February 5, 1954 in Tamaha, Oklahoma, to parents Vance Alexander Tyler and Eva Pauline Ladd Tyler.  She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from McLain High School.

Vicky taught math and science for over twenty years and retired from Wells Middle School in Catoosa.  She received her Master Degree in education from Northeastern State University.

She is survived by her Mother; Pauline Tyler of Vera, Oklahoma, Brothers; Rick Tyler and wife Gina Tyler of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Roger Tyler and wife Amy Tyler of Norman, Oklahoma, and Robert Tyler of Vera, Oklahoma.  Children; Nicholas Hurst from Collinsville, Oklahoma and Trisha Rummage and Husband Sam Rummage from Oklahoma City.  Grandchildren; Ruth Rummage, Judah Rummage and Moses Rummage from Oklahoma City, Step-children; David Hurst from Owasso, Ok., Diane Hurst from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stoney Hurst from Owasso, Smokey Hurst from Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her son T.J. Hurst and her Father Vance Tyler.

Vicky fought a long and hard battle with pancreatic cancer and spent her last days at Porta Caeli House in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Her family would like to thank the volunteers and staff for their wonderful care of her during her final days.
