Obituary

Carolyn Sue Rose was born on July 27th, 1948, in Muskogee, OK. She resided in Claremore, OK, and went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2023 at 7:55 pm. She will be laid to rest with her husband, John Rose at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens, Garden of Love, in Claremore, OK.

There will be no public service, but a “Celebration of Life” for her family on Sept. 9th, 2023, in Tulsa, OK.

Carolyn loved Jesus and it showed in her bubbly personality and the way she loved her family so well. Her youngest daughter, Charity Rose, and her husband John Rose, were her whole world! She loved being “Nanna” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her husband had a food ministry for many years and were ready and willing to tell anyone and everyone about Jesus. After adopting one of their youngest grandchildren, volunteer life slowed down, but they certainly did not. They were also involved is Senior Ministry at Cedar Point Church, in Claremore, OK.

Carolyn was survived in death by the following:

Sister and Brother-in-law, Dr. Mike and Mary Curry, of Columbia, MO

Daughter, Tammy Jaggars, of Claremore, OK

Daughter, Tonya Jan, of Tulsa, OK

Daughter, Charity Rose, of Claremore, OK

Granddaughter, Erin and Clay Pianalto, of Summers, AR

Granddaughter, Saira and Shayan Siddiqui, of Tulsa, OK

Grandson, Colten Chambers and fiancé, Hailey Dilday, of Claremore, OK

Great grandchildren, Adelynn Pianalto, Kinley Pianalto, Sawyer Pianalto and Alina Zeeshan Siddiqui

Nephew, John and Jennifer Curry, of Columbia, MO

Niece, Michaelyn Curry, of Columbia, MO

Carolyn was predeceased in death by:

Brother, Matthew Mahanes, of Pryor, OK

Father, Erine Mahanes, of Pryor, OK

Mother, Margaret “Sue” McCann, of Claremore, OK

Nephew, Christopher Curry, of Columbia, MO

Husband, John Rose, of Claremore, OK

Carolyn will be missed terribly by those she left behind, but there is no doubt in their minds that she’s dancing on golden streets in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
