Charles Albert Holmes, Jr.

Was born April 28, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Thurman Charles and Anna Belle Holmes. Charles was the 5th sibling of three sisters (Thelma, Ruth & Bernice) and two brothers (Eddie and Mark).

Charles grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he attended Tulsa Public Schools. Charles was very Athletic and was an excellent football player and was well known for his speed and moves on the field. Charles also enjoyed watching a good old western movie and reading books.

Charles married Debra McConnell and to this union four children were born: Jackie, Charlie, D’Juanie and Rodney (Twins).

Charles was preceded in death by both parents, Thurman Charles and Anna Belle Holmes, his only daughter Jacquelynn Crawford and his son (twin) Rodney Holmes that passed away at birth and two sisters: Thelma and Bernice.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Charles Holmes Jr. (Tiya) Eddie Djuan Holmes and Kevin Crawford (son in law), Brothers Mark Holmes (Kanadra),Eddie Jefferson (Lonnie) and Sister Ruth Ann Carter and a host of grandkids, great-grand kids, nieces and nephews.

Charles also leaves to cherish his memory his Life long friend Roger Wilson and friend Norvelle Wilson.
