Charlotte was a homemaker and become a florist. She was very family oriented and enjoyed quality time with her great grandchildren that she watched three of them for the last 12 years of her life. She was selfless to the point she would do her grandsons laundry and made sure they had clean sheets to sleep in. Every Christmas Eve, she would read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas to the grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with “adopted” great grandchildren.
Charlotte was a member of the Trinity Episcopal and Church of the Holy Spirit. She was head of the alter guild for many years, and was part of the group of the congregation that made the needlepoint kneelers.
She enjoyed needlepoint and quilting. She made ornaments, receiving blankets, and quilts for future babies in the family. She also knitted every family member a Christmas stocking. She also enjoyed bowling, reading books, and swimming, but please do not mess with her hair.
