Craig William Shunkey

Craig Shunkey, 61 of Tulsa, OK passed away on September 12, 2021, after a battle with heart failure.   Craig was born March 20, 1960 to William and Barbara Shunkey in Tulsa, OK.  After graduating high school at Kalaheo in Kailua, Hawaii in 1978 he moved to FonDulac, WI. Where he met his Wife Laura.  They moved to Fort Worth, Texas and on April 23, 1980, they married. Later having two daughters, Jacquelyn in 1980 and Kristin in 1983.  He worked as a superintendent for several large construction companies.  His favorite project were the Pentagon and Chinese Embassy.

Craig was a devoted father and husband, with a personality that was larger than life.  He enjoyed coaching soccer, traveling, the beach, the Dallas Cowboys and a little gambling.  He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially his grandson Kaden.

He is survived by daughters, Jacquelyn Lofton, husband Marvin, Kristin Wendels, Grandson Kaden Wendels, brother Kurt Shunkey, his wife Beth Ann and Nephews Kyle and KC Shunkey.  Craig was preceded in death by his Dad, William Shunkey, Mom, Barbara Shunkey, Brother John Shunkey, wife Laura Shunkey and Nephew Justin Shunkey.
