Eduardo Vicente Mora, an admired leader in the Tulsa Hispanic community, passed away unexpectedly on January 25th at the age of 71.
Eduardo is survived by his wife Nilsa Mora; his children Talisha Mora Beitia, Giovanni Mora, Carissa Betances, & Germaine Betances; his grandchildren Alyssa Mora, Cyrena Coleman, Dakotah Fox, Belen Beitia, & Benicio Beitia.
Born on May 15, 1951, in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Eduardo came to United States at 8 in 1963. He enlisted in the air force in 1969. Eduardo was the owner & operator of Multiservicios Y Asesoria Mora, LLC at Plaza Santa Cecilia & a state certified mediator & translator.
Eduardo was a devoted family man & a passionate community leader & activist in Tulsa. He enjoyed acting in local plays & ballroom dancing. Known to some as Eddie, Eduardo was well known for his volunteering efforts on various efforts over the years like Octoberfest, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Gala, Dia de Los Muertos, & Cinco De Mayo.
Eduardo will be remembered for his generosity, compassion for helping the community, loyalty, and his laughter. He will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, and by all that knew him.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 28th at Reynolds Funeral Home at 1916 S Sheridan RD in Tulsa at 6pm.
