James Bernard Quintus passed away on Oct 8, 2020 in Springfield, MO.
He was born on April 30, 1932 to Peter and Mary Quintus in Glen Ullin, ND. The family later moved to a farm in Council Bluffs IA. He enlisted in the Army and was stationed in California as an electronics technician. He returned to Council Bluffs and married Kathleen Shehan and worked for the UP Railroad and farmed. They moved to Kansas City and then Springfied, MO where he worked for Greb X-Ray Co. as a technician and salesman. They raised 4 children, Theresa, James, Marilyn and Monica. They moved to Owasso, OK in 1980.
James was a devout Catholic and was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. James and Kathleen attended daily Mass and were deeply involved with programs and traditions of the Church.
He was a prolific inventor and entrepreneur with a keen mind for electronics. He was inventor of the Garage Butler.
He was known for his great sense of humor, honest character, and brilliant inventive mind.
He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen, father Peter, mother Mary, sister Cathrine, and daughter Monica. He is survived by his children, Theresa Mann, James (Tina) , and Marilyn Wessner (Bob) and sister, Sr. Mary Petra, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
