Janice Kay (Nash) Lane
August 16, 1953 ~ May 11, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years OldJanice Kay Lane of Eucha, Oklahoma, joined our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the age of 63 years. She was born on August 16, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Betty Nell Burch Nash of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and the late Jerry Nash of Collinsville, Oklahoma
Kay grew up and attended school in Collinsville, Oklahoma, with siblings, cousins and friends. Kay married Randy Pascoe Lane on March 25 1971 in Paris, Texas. They made their home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and began a family with the birth of their first son Kevin. Thereafter, sons Keith and Kyle were born while living in the Tulsa area. In 1985 the family of 5 made their home in Claremore, Ok. While working alongside Randy in their personal business of Lane’s Body Shop, Kay attentively raised the boys and made sure each of them experienced life not only in school activities, but also knew their walk with the Lord.
As quoted by a relative of her last few days with us, “Kay has been such an example of a selfless mom”… Truly she made the best of any situation to make sure others were taken care of, loved and included. She loved her family dearly and she was sure to tell them. Her passing has taught us that Christ’s love has given us strength when ours alone wasn’t enough. Her faith in God was strong and we know she is home with our Lord and Savior.
Kay is survived by husband Randy Lane of the home; 3 sons, Kevin Lane and wife Lori, grandchildren Jubal and Auburn of Owasso, Oklahoma; Keith Lane and wife Kathryn, grandchildren Aryel, Autumn, Louella and Jenevieve of, Baldwin City, Kansas; Kyle Lane and fiancé Shawna Lee, children Madison, Shayla and Ryan of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; mother, Betty Nash of Collinsville, Oklahoma; siblings, brother john Nash and wife Wanda of Owasso, Oklahoma; sister Peggy Sue Jones of Eucha, Oklahoma; brother David Nash and wife Jamie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister Barbara Nash of Owasso, Oklahoma.
