Jimmy D. Farrow was born on August 19, 1947, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Clarence and Ollie Sutton Farrow. He passed from this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at his home in Sand Springs, OK at the age of 73, surrounded by Family and friends.
Jimmy married his High School sweetheart, Linda Sweatt on September 7, 1965, and they made their home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. They raised their children, Anndrea, Sean and Jeff in Sand Springs and Mannford, OK area.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, four Brothers, Loyd, Billy, Alvin (Aka Duroc) and Jesse Farrow, as well as a grandson, Zackery David McCutcheon and a Great Grandson Colton Earl Pruitt.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda of the home, his children Anndrea McCutcheon and her husband Mike of Mannford, OK, Sean Farrow of Sand Springs, OK and Jeff Farrow of Mannford, Ok; six grandchildren, Josh McCutcheon and his wife Tory, Dillon Farrow and his wife Sarah, all of Sand Springs, Ok, Tyler Pruitt and his wife Deidre of Gonzales, Louisiana, Dalton Farrow and his wife Chelsea Trayce Farrow, all of Mannford, OK and Madison Farrow of Claremore, OK; seven great grandchildren and three on the way. Three brothers, Donald Farrow of DeQueen, Arkansas, J.W. (Bud) Farrow and his wife Neoma of Sand Springs, Ok and Darrel Farrow and his wife Lou of Terlton, OK; three sisters, Twila Young and her husband Danny, Pat Riley and her husband Gene of Mannford, Ok and Shirley Zickefoose of Cleveland, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jimmy attended Mannford Schools where he met Linda, Lettered in Baseball and graduated in 1965.
He worked 40 years in the Piping industry as a Pipefitter, Welder and QC Manager for Piping Engineering and JV Industrial.
Jimmy loved sports, especially when he got to watch his Grandkids play. He enjoyed Snow Skiing, Golfing, The Hagg and Real Country Music, Crossword puzzles and as quiet as he was, he loved telling Jokes.
He was a member of the seventh-Day Bible Church, where he was Baptized by his Pastor, Lifelong Friend and Brother-in-law, Lee Sweatt.
Jimmy touched so many lives in a positive way. If you had the pleasure of knowing him you will treasure those memories always and he will not be forgotten.
