Kevin G. Hughes

Kevin Hughes, 57, of Mannford, OK.  (One week away from celebrating his 58th birthday) Stepped on to the stage of his heavenly home on Thursday, December 30, 2021.  Kevin was born in Checotah, OK to the late Bill and Glendora Hughes, a little brother for his sister, Billie “BB” Hughes-Brown.  As a youngster, Kevin enjoyed the family camping trips to Eufaula Lake where he could water ski, swim, sharpen his fishing skills and play his guitar, this is where Kevin began his love for playing music and entertaining people with songs. Kevin attended McLain High School in Tulsa. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners fan and was not afraid to let you know it.  Soon after leaving High School, Kevin began getting paid for his passion of being a musician.  Kevin performed at numerus events and locations across the great state of Oklahoma, Kevin gave his final performance at The Westbound in Tulsa, Ok on December 15, 2021.

Left behind to cherish his memory are, his wife Marjorie Hughes, children, Daughter Amanda Cutsinger, Son Bryan Hughes wife Kerri, Daughter Heaven Starr husband Chutto, Step-son Mike Carver wife Brenda, Sister Billie “BB” Brown, 9 Grandchildren, 8 Step-Grand Children, numerous Aunts, Uncles ,Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and Extended family.

He was preceded in death by, Grandparents, Ezel and Jewel Pollard, Edard and Thelma Hughes, Parents, Billy and Glendora Hughes, Son Kevin Coleman (Cole) Hughes and Step-Son Keith Alan Carver.
