Kori (Fry) Caflin

Kori Caflin was born on December 1, 1980. Kori was a bright and loving young girl. She is preceded in death by her mother Paula Fry who unfortunately lost a battle to breast cancer. Kori and her father met Janell, who adopted her at five. This is when Kori eventually gained many siblings. Kori graduated from Wichita West High School, where she was incredibly active in JROTC.

Following high school, Kori struck out on her own and eventually gave birth to twins. Kori selflessly decided to have the twins adopted and raised in the family while still maintaining a close relationship. She then met and married Rodney Morgan following high school on August 24, 2004. They enjoyed seventeen wonderful years together. Rodney passed away February 23, 2022. 

Soon after Kori met Shawn and they quickly fell in love. They were married on March 10, 2023. They had a lovely ceremony surrounded with their loved ones. 

Kori loved music, her family, and especially the Chiefs. She loved to give to others and always check in on others she knew with a smile on her face. Kori's number one joy in life was being a house wife and loving Shawn. She loved her two daughters and grandchildren very much.

She is preceded in death by her mother Paula Fry, her adoptive mother Janell Sekula, stepfather John Sekula, and husband Rodney Morgan.

Kori is survived by her husband Shawn Caflin, and his family. She is survived by her father Robert Fry (Maria). She is survived by her sister in law Kelle Robinson (Bill), nephew Cody Warner (Whitney). Daughters Cassie and Caitie Sekula, 4 grandchildren Tommie Janell, Dennis James, Oliver Jack, and Nova May. Sisters Andrea Zimmerman (Adam), Holly Collins, Megan Fry and many others.
