Marlene Worley

Marlene Worley of Owasso, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015.
Marlene was born on January 9, 1933; the daughter of William J. and Alvena Mary (Koehn) Mull in Great Bend, Kansas.
She lived most of her life in Great Bend and Wichita, Kansas until moving to Owasso in 1997. Marlene attended Fort Hayes State College. She was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary for many years in Wichita.
Marlene had a passion for fashion and enjoyed shopping, music, and playing video slot machines. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her three children; Kim Benzel and husband Robert, Kelly Hornbaker and wife Sandy, Ky Hornbaker and wife Jill; as well as six grand children; Nicole Amend, Chad Hornbaker, Chesli Hornbaker, Zeke Hornbaker, Kyal Hornbaker and Elyse Hornbaker; one great grandson Caleb Amend.
Marlene was preceded in death by her loving husband Luther Worley, her parents, and her sister Marian Weathers.
Thank you to the nurses and staff at Sterling House in Owasso and Good Shepherd Hospice for the care they provided Marlene.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Oklahoma Chapter. Services are under the direction of Reynolds and Sons Funeral Home in Collinsville, Oklahoma.
