Jean was born November 12, 1930 in St. Joseph, Missouri. After graduating high school, she met Lloyd, the love of her life, on a blind date. They fell in love and were soon married. After starting their family, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma so Lloyd could attend Spartan School of Aeronautics. They settled in Owasso, Oklahoma and later Collinsville, Oklahoma. For many years, she was a stay at home Mom, raising 4 children. Once all the children were in school, Jean assisted Lloyd in several business endeavors. Later they moved to Mountain View, Missouri to be close to Lloyd’s retired parents. While in Mountain View, she was owner/operator of Clean Jean’s laundry and later worked as a seamstress at the local uniform factory, where she did it all (except ironing). They then moved to Disney, Oklahoma to enjoy retirement.

Jean enjoyed numerous crafts including quilting, knitting, crocheting, and painting. Per her request, no funeral service will be held.
