Monte Hub Godfrey

Monte Godfrey, 66, of Tulsa, OK passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020.

Monte was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. Monte was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time in the outdoors. He always liked hunting, fishing and gardening. Monte always had his grandchildren helping him in the garden and following him around.

Monte is survived by his brother, Danny Godfrey, his wife, Sherri Ann Godfrey, his step-children, Chelsea and Justin Jenkins and Victoria and Andrew Whittaker, his grandchildren, Adalynn, Justin, Marissa and Peyton.

Monte was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Forester and Norman Godfrey, his grandparents, George and Leora Forester and Thomas and Merta Jane Godfrey, his twin brother Thomas Godfrey and his brothers Norman Godfrey and Johnny Godfrey and his daughter Jessica.

Monte retired from Tulsa County maintenance department after 25 years of service.
