Norma Lee McNatt was born on June 27, 1930 to John and Susie Pruitt in Tulsa, OK. Norma’s childhood years were spent in Turley, OK. The family moved to Naval Reserve, OK, where she lived until she married.
Norma met the love of her life Ulen F. McNatt in 1945. The couple married on April 9, 1947. Their union was blessed with a son, and two daughters. Ulen and Norma made their home in the Tulsa area after WWII.
Her family was Norma’s life. She was a doting wife and mother. Norma was very active in church where she played the organ. Norma was the organist at Lewis Avenue Freewill Baptist for over 31 years. She loved to crochet. Many of her creations were works of art. Her favorite pastime of all was her family.
After retirement, Ulen and Norma spent many years traveling. Through their travels, they would visit all lower 48 states, Mexico and Canada. They also spent many years camping with friends and family.
Norma had a wonderful sense of humor. She always loved a good prank or rousing. Her laugh will never be forgotten.
Norma joined our Heavenly Father on October 6, 2021 at 91 years of age, at her home in Collinsville, surrounded by a host of family and friends. Norma is survived by her husband of 74 ½ years, Ulen F. McNatt of the home, Daughter Terry McNatt of Collinsville, Granddaughter Leslie Himebaugh of Collinsville, Grandson Chris Himebauh and wife Stephanie of Collinsville and Granddaughter Jeanie Moore and husband Jim of Nowata. She is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandson’s of which she was so proud of, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, son Dennis McNatt, daughter Rhonda McNatt, granddaughter Rhonie, grandson Scottie and grandson Todd. Also preceding her in death were 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Norma will be dearly missed by everyone she knew.
