Randy Lynn Cameron

“Randy Lynn Cameron was born June 29, 1954, to Lloyd and Barbara Cameron in Lexington, Kentucky.  At 65 years young, he was promoted to eternal life with Jesus on November 5, 2019 in McAlester, Ok.  He was a loving father, brother, cousin, uncle, grandfather, husband, son and friend throughout his life.

He is survived by his son, Justin Cameron and his wife Matissa and their children, Ainsley, Aidan and Allyson, of Oklahoma City, Ok as well as his daughter, Terri Messmore and her children Trey and Gabriel of Jenks, Ok.  He is also survived by his mother Barbara Cameron of Naples, Florida, his sister, Kristy Cameron and 2 brothers Kirby and Barry Cameron.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Cameron, his wife Sherrie Cameron and his brother Kerry Cameron.

Randy lived a life full of music, adventure, travel, entertainment, friendships and family.  Randy graduated from Muskogee High School in 1972.  He attended Ozark Christian College 1972-1975 where he met and married his first wife, also the mother of his 2 children.  Randy loved his St. Louis Cardinals baseball, OU football and Jeff Gordon NASCAR racing.  He proudly worked his way up to management with the United States Postal Service where he eventually retired.  Before becoming ill, Randy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and children, singing karaoke and traveling.  He will be dearly missed here on this earth.”
