Stacy Eugene Wilson, born in Tulsa , Oklahoma on July 11, 1969, and passed from this life in Tulsa on Friday, April 21, 2023.

Stacy was a BCI All American basketball player and an All State player in 1987 at Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he graduated. 

He went on to play at Rose State College  in Midwest city and division 1 Charleston Southern University in  South Carolina. He played Professionaly in  the CBA  with The Oklahoma City Calvary and Overseas. He has lived in Hawaii , Utah, Texas and he eventually made his way back to Tulsa and laid his permanent roots there.

Stacy was affectionately known as “Big Stacy”(in height and in heart). He loved to dance, laugh, and was always up for a good time! You could definitely say Stacy was the life of the party. Stacy was outgoing, loyal, funny and gentle. Once he got to know someone , he quickly chose a fitting nickname for them and from that point on, they were his friend for life. He was a staple of Downtown Tulsa life for over 20 years. If you went downtown to go out to eat or go to a concert, chances are that you would see Stacy Wilson and he would greet you, usually with a whats up?”. 

He leaves behind many friends who will miss his infectious personality and positive attitude as well as his laugh and smile.

Celebration of Life for Stacy Eugene Wilson will be held at The Soundpony Lounge 409 N Main St, Tulsa, OK 74103 in Downtown Tulsa this Sunday April the 30th at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. Come celebrate Stacy and tell your favorite Stacy story.
