Thomas Taylor Butts, Jr.

Thomas Taylor Butts, Jr., the son of Thomas Taylor Butts, Sr. and Martha Rachael (Anderson) Butts was born, September 8, 1929 in Drumright, Oklahoma and went to be with Jesus at the age of 90 years on May 16, 2020 at Tahlequah NE Hospital, surrounded by loving family.

Tom married the love of his life, Miss Betty Lou Evans on January 19, 1952.  He joined the Navy to serve his country and served during WWII and the Korean War.  Betty's dad founded Turnpike Church of First Born where Tom was pastor for 24+years, but worked as a professional painter.  He was preceded by his parents Thomas, Sr. and Martha Butts, 2 sisters, Dorothy Cox and Thelma Snyder.  He is survived by Betty, his wife of 68 years, daughters, Karla Butts, Kara Johnston, her husband Leland, grandson, Erick Wilson, granddaughter Jennifer Jones her husband, Steven, nephews, nieces and an un-countable host of friends that loved him.
