Wayne Eugene Eckstrom

Wayne Eugene Eckstrom Jr. of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed from this
life on June 27, 2022 at the age of 78.  He was born February 13,
1944, (13 minutes before midnight) in Michigan.  He married Marjorie
Acree June 28, 1968 in California. They had one daughter.  Wayne spent
his life working as a painter.  He was well known as painter Wayne,
Wayne the painter.  In his younger years he enjoyed playing pool and
fishing.  He loved taking drives down old country roads.  He loved to
watch old westerns and sports on TV.  Wayne is preceded in death by
his parents Wayne Eugene Eckstrom Sr. and Doris Ruth Eckstrom, his
wife Marjorie Elaine Eckstrom.  Survivors are his daughter Susan
Sherrie Shipley of Langley, Oklahoma, step son Arthur Lee Medlin of
Sand Springs, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren
and nieces and nephews.
