Charlene Ellen Reneau Boomer passed from this life on February 8, 2017 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family by her side.

She was born August 1, 1947 to Wesley William Reneau and Violet May Reed in Snohomish Washington where she was also raised and educated. She attended and graduated from Snohomish High School in 1965. She also attended Everett Community College.

She later married Ernest Boomer on May 18, 1968; to this union there were children. She was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on February 18, 1973 by Bro. Orville Brown.

Charlene is survived by her four children: Danette Boomer of Arlington, Washington, Eric Boomer of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Colette Linder and husband David of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Eddie Boomer and wife Laquesha of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her mother Violet Reneau of Everett, Washington and her siblings, Rose Kauhlman of Snohomish, Washington, Michael Groshong of Everett, Washington, Merwood Groshong Jr. of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Tom Reneau of Arlington, Wasington, Pam Skerrett of Snohomish, Washington, Penny Groshong of Arlington, Washington, and Pam Schreeder of Snohomish, Washington and 27 grandchildren which 5 of those 27 grandchildren she adopted: Chaz Belongie and wife Blossom of Lexington, Oklahoma, Arianne Lefebvre and husband Todd of Everett, Washington, Reed Boomer and wife Daysha of Stratford, Oklahoma, Montana Boomer of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Amanda Boomer of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and fiancé Michael Nation of Choctaw, Oklahoma and 9 great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, a host other relatives and many friends also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Boomer, grandsons Forrest Linder, twins Jack and Jeremiah Belongie, father, William Reneau, sister, Sandy Boilin and brother, Harold Olson.

Charlene loved to travel and being with her children, grandchildren and brethren. She was a mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.
