Joan (Robinson) Johnston

Joan Robinson Johnston was born, December 30, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Dewey and  Betty Robinson.  She grew up in the Oologah/Talala area.  She attended the Oologah/Talala Schools.  Joan liked being outdoors, loved flowers and trying to take care of everyone.  She also had a place in her heart and home for anyone who needed a hand. 

Joan departed this life on February 19, 2017, she was 63 years old.  She was preceded in death her father and mother, Dewey and Betty, two brothers, Garland and Harland, one sister Janet payne, brother in-law, Richard Payne and a son Steven.  She leaves behind a brother, Benny and wife Melody of Talala, son Michael and his girlfriend Courtney, granddaughters Ashland and Cheyenne, great-granddaughter, Elena, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, extended family Sarah Hale and husband Jeff, Julia Hale and Max Hale, God-son Matthew Ferguson and sister by Heart Debbie.  She also leaves behind a host of friends.

Joan loved her motorcycle and kept it, always planning on getting where she could ride again.
