Ray Kenneth Brantley

Ray was the son of Richard H. and Virginia Lee "Virgie" Ownbey Brantley. Siblings included sister - Emma Joy Witten, Brothers - Richard (R.V.), Charles Daniel (Danny), and twin - Roy Keith. He served as a Private First Class in the Marines from 1946-1948, serving in locations including Okinawa, Japan and Antwerp, Belgium.

He married the love of his life, Dortha Nell Damron (Dottie), February 28, 1953. They were blessed with two children, Janice R. & Kenneth. Daughter-In-Law Renee Brantley. Grandchildren, Chris Brantley, David Kimball, Bryan Brantley and Tracy Mitchell. Grandchildren in-laws, Dayna, Alicia Brantley and Charlie Mitchell. Great-Grandchildren,Natalie Clark, Rhiannon Brantley, Amber Clark, Shane Mitchell, Tristan Chambers, Cynthia Clark, Kathy Brantley, Noah, Skylar Mitchell and Shyann Brantley.

He worked for many years as an engraver, living in California, Colorado and Tulsa, before working for GM in Oklahoma City.

He enjoyed golf, chess, solitaire and dominos. He was family focused and enjoyed trips with his family.. I you ever visited, he would make sure you were fed. He will be greatly missed.
