Clare Margaret Barbee

Clare Margaret Barbee was born on Saturday, July 29, 1944. She was born at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Thomas and Evelyn Mary Barbee. Clare was 71 years, 11 months, and 17 days old. Her hobbies included crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as being a very nice Christian lady that was always willing to help anyone in need. Clare often put the needs and comfort of the ones she loved before her own. She retired from Bama Pie Inc., after working many years there as a lab technician.

Clare was the ninth child of a total of 15 children and she loved everyone of them. She is survived by seven of her siblings: Donald Barbee, Loretta Dayer, Chris Barbee, Jane Barbee, Paul Barbee, Marie Lewis and Dorothy Wood. Clare is also survived by her five children: James Andrew Ponder, Helen Marie Stofferahn, Lola Ann Ponder, John Wayne Ponder and Jerry Allen Ponder. Son-in-law: Lon Stofferahan, Daughter-in-law: Julie Ponder, Grandchildren: Brandon-Shawn, Chelsea, Heather, Rachel, Thomas, Starla, Cody Tow, Ashley, Cody Sartain, Curtis, Calvin and Camron. Great-Grandchildren: Leah, Britney, Chelsea, Ethan, Brandon, Braydon, Brashayla, Zaden, Zayleigh, Cameron, Landon and Sadie.

Clare was preceded in death by: Father: James Thomas Barbee, Mother: Evelyn Mary Freymuth Barbee, Sister: Lucy Barbee, Brothers: Clarence Barbee, James Barbee, David Barbee, Lawrence Barbee, Tommy Barbee and Daniel Barbee, Son-in-law: Ricky Allen Tow.
