I met Carissa when I stayed in Tulsa for 3 weeks in 2011 and recently got emailed about this tragedy. And if any of her family see this, your daughter/niece/cousin/sister is still a beautiful person no matter where she is, they say god takes the best ones early. She was such a happy person and it was impossible to be sad around her. I am so sorry for your loss and I'm sending love from across the pond (Worcester, UK) xxx

I used to work next door to Carissa and she would come over almost every single day. She was always a highlight of everyone's day. Breaks my heart into many pieces. Praying she is in a much better place now. Like Martina said..."And just when the caterpillar thought the world was too much, it became a butterfly" Love you Carissa. Sending so much strength to her family and friends.

Carissa had such a positive and important impact on the strength I found within myself during a difficult transition in life. Her spontaneity and desire for those around her to be happy was truly inspirational. I'll never forget her love or her belief in me. I was blessed to be able to call her my friend.
